Deb has been working in the veterinary field for 15 years, starting in reception with a background as a lead receptionist at her former clinic before joining us here at VCA Arboretum View Animal Hospital. She was the sole care coordinator in our Emergency and Critical Care Department before building her team and becoming the Care Coordinator Supervisor in 2021. She has a passion for Emergency medicine, as each day is different than the last and she gets to see a wide range of pets and cases come through our hospital!
Deb enjoys her role because she feels that she's able to give a voice to the voiceless, advocating for animals who cannot speak for themselves. She particularly enjoys the client service aspects of her role and being there for clients through the good times and the bad. Deb wants everyone to know that they're not alone and they've got someone in their corner fighting for their pets!
In her free time, Deb can be found reading, doing target practice, tending to the plethora of houseplants she keeps (her two Chihuahuas do their best to help!) and riding motorcycles with her husband.
