Hello, my name is Jeny and I've been in the vet industry for 3 years. 

I grew up in the countryside of Bennett, CO, where I've been around horses my entire life. Outside of VCA Aspenwood, I love to ride horses, and I compete competitively in a Mexican side saddle team called Escaramuza Flor de Aguileña, representing the state of Colorado both in the US and Mexico. I have two mares named Monarca and Mona. In addition to them, I have two dogs named Cowboy (Cattle Dog) and Changito (Aussie). 

I'm currently studying to get my associate's in Animal Science in the Veterinary Technician Apprentice Program at the Community College of Denver. I am a first-generation in my family to attend college! After I obtain my degree, I hope to take the VTNE and hope to eventually gain expertise in equine specialty.
