I am a compassionate and dedicated veterinary technician with a deep love for animals that has shaped my career. I graduated from the Veterinary Technician program at the Community College of Denver in May 2022. Shortly after, I successfully passed the Veterinary Technician National Exam (VTNE) in July 2022, earning her certification and stepping into a rewarding career dedicated to the health and well-being of animals.
My journey into veterinary medicine began in August 2020 when she started here at VCA Aspenwood with no prior experience in a veterinary clinic. Growing up with a "zoo" of pets—including dogs, cats, birds, lizards, fish, hamsters, and a guinea pig—I developed a lifelong passion for helping animals. This passion was further ignited during my vet tech program, where I discovered a particular interest in anesthesia and exotic animals. As a natural leader and mentor, I was honored to be promoted to lead technician at Aspenwood in the summer of 2024. My bubbly personality and strong relationships with colleagues have helped me create a positive and supportive environment in the hospital. I am committed to providing the highest level of care for every animal that comes through our doors and am always eager to expand my knowledge in veterinary medicine. Whether it's assisting with surgeries, managing anesthesia, or caring for exotic species, I am dedicated to delivering exceptional medical care with compassion and professionalism.
I was born and raised here in beautiful Colorado. Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, learning to golf, and spending quality time with family and friends. I also am an adrenaline junkie at heart and love trying adventurous activities like skydiving and cliff jumping. I am always eager to take on new challenges and learn something new, both in and outside of the hospital.
