I grew up in a small town in Northwest Iowa, where I developed a deep connection with animals through hands-on experience as a farmhand and numerous FFA and 4-H-related teams. I worked closely on my grandmother's farm for the entirety of my childhood and teenage years. I was known to do numerous chores, from assisting with harvest season to helping with lamb birthing. This early exposure fostered a lifelong gratitude for animals and a passion for their care.
I then moved to Colorado in 2019 and began volunteering at a feline rescue and a farm sanctuary. For over three years, I have served as a member of the VCA Aspenwood team, working as a client service representative, where I continue to bring my pride and love for animals to every patient. I find great value in getting to know the clients that come to the clinic, along with their furry family members.
When not at the hospital, I am enjoying channeling my creativity through art, favoring sketching, photography, and painting. I also enjoy spending my time with my dog and cat, Loki and Piggy.
