Jennifer joined the Avondale team in May of 2019. She started in the veterinary field in 2004 and has worked in multiple roles from reception to veterinary assistant to manager. She is a Certified Veterinary Practice Manager with a Master's in Organizational Development and is also a Certified Compassion Fatigue Professional.  Jennifer also manages the VCA Marshalltown Animal Hospital location in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Jennifer believes strongly in the human-animal bond and wants to make sure that both you and your furry family members have the best experience possible while at VCA Avondale. She has seen her dachshund through back surgery and her cat through urinary issues and is always willing to listen and support you with your pet.

In her time off, Jennifer enjoys spending time relaxing with her pets and reading, watching scary movies, or whipping up a new recipe.
