Geoffrey has worked in the veterinary field for 15 years. He has been a licensed technician for 6 of those years. From a young age, he knew he wanted to work in the veterinary field. To pursue this he got a zoology degree from Washington State University and Associate's in Veterinary Technology from Portland Community College.
Geoffrey has also joined a new department in VCA, the Technician Development Team. The goal of this team is to help team members get the training they need to succeed at their jobs. They can even give out scholarships to help people reach their career goals.
Recently he has developed an interest in behavior and training. He is currently working toward a Veterinary Technology Specialty in Behavior and his CPDT dog training license.
At home, he and his wife have 5 turtles, 1 cat, and 2 dogs. In his free time, he enjoys reading, miniature painting, and spending time outdoors.
