Dr. Hoggan is the medical director of the VCA CVS Murrieta facility, where she also oversees emergency and critical care services. She takes special pride in her ability to connect with patients and explain medical treatments and diagnosis on a feeling level. She has been in private practice with an emphasis in emergency medicine since veterinary school graduation. Her areas of interest include the human-animal bond, emergency medicine, and critical care.

Dr. Hoggan graduated Cum Laude with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Washington State University. She also holds a Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Idaho. Dr. Hoggan gave a beautiful TedxTemecula talk on the emotional cost of euthanasia, which you can easily find online.
