Dr. Amanda Vance was born and raised in West Georgia. She received both her bachelor's degree in biology and her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Georgia. After graduating from veterinary school in 2014, she completed a 1-year rotating internship, also at UGA. Since then, she has been practicing in the West Georgia area as a small animal veterinarian.
She lives in Bowdon with her husband and high school sweetheart, Brian, who is a teacher and baseball coach. Together they have three rescue pups (Baxter, Oscar, and Betty) and several pet chickens. In her free time, she enjoys reading, running, cooking, and spending time with family. She is also a huge UGA football fan! Go Dawgs!
Her professional interests include internal medicine, preventative medicine, and strengthening the human-animal bond. She looks forward to meeting you and providing quality care for your pets!
