Dr. Williamson is a 1987 graduate of Auburn University. He came to Carrollton Animal Hospital in 1988 as an associate and in 1990 became an owner.

Dr. Williamson lives with his wife, Mary, and two daughters, Adria and Emily. They have two dogs, Jack and Lucy and four cats: Buster, Biscuit, Oliver and Zeke.
