Dr. Nichole Meisch-Holubar joined VCA Cascade Animal Medical Center in March 2016. She had previously worked at VCA Sand Lake Animal Hospital in Onalaska, WI since June 2010. She grew up on a dairy farm near Altura, MN and went to school in Lewiston, MN. She graduated from Winona State University in 2006 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a Biochemistry minor. She graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2010. While in vet school she worked in the histopathology and necropsy areas of veterinary pathology.
She has always had a love for animals since she was a little girl and as long as she can remember she wanted to be a veterinarian. She appreciates that she can make a difference in her patients treatment and care by using the latest diagnostic medicine. She enjoys the preventative medicine side of the veterinary field, keeping her patients healthy and happy so they can enjoy all their favorite things at home with their families.
Dr. Meisch now resides in Stewartville, MN with her husband Nathan and their son Jayden, a very active toddler. They have two large, very fluffy cats named Misty and Chewy. Her interests include reading, biking, taking walks, spending time with her family, cooking and baking.
