Hometown Care at VCA County Veterinary Hospital

VCA County is a well-established, AAHA-accredited, full-service small animal veterinary hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical and dental care. We provide a broad spectrum of diagnostic procedures through in-house testing and the use of external laboratories. We also work closely with local practices when special diagnostic procedures are required. The facility includes a well-stocked pharmacy, in-hospital surgery suite, in-house x-ray capabilities, and a closely supervised hospitalization area.

Our mission is to provide excellent quality medical care in a friendly and compassionate setting through gentle handling of pets, teamwork, integrity, continuing education and thoughtful, transparent communication. We strive to improve the quality of life of our patients, build a foundation of trust with our clients and support the human-animal bond.

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
