Dr. Lauren Barron graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine and Research. She then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM in 2015.
Dr. Barron's interests include geriatric medicine, palliative care, behavior, internal medicine, and surgery with a focus on fear free handling and restraint. She values the human-animal bond and loves working with clients to strengthen their relationships with pets at home.
She enjoys spending time with her husband and family. Her pets keep her busy as she has Coonhound mix named Daisy and a Labrador retriever mix named Nolie. She also has three cats and is a big advocate for pet adoption. Her favorite activities include following Rutgers athletics, hiking, traveling, landscaping, and working on antique cars with her husband. She joined our team in January 2019.
