Dr. Lauren Barron graduated Cum Laude from Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Animal Science/Pre-veterinary Medicine and Research. She then graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine with a DVM in 2015.
Dr. Barron's interests include geriatric medicine, internal medicine, and behavior with a focus on fear free handling and restraint. She values the human-animal bond and loves working with clients to strengthen their relationships with pets at home.
She enjoys spending time with the pets in her life. Abby, a Bichon-toy Poodle mix, Annie, a Labrador Retriever, and Lady, a Black and Tan Coonhound, keep her on her toes. She also enjoys playing with her three black cats: Desi, Lucy, and Tiki. Roxy, her African Gray parrot, typically supervises. Her favorite activities include hiking and traveling around the country. She joined our team in January 2019.
