Dr. Ivana Trinh Satre is a native of the East Bay. She completed her undergraduate studies at UC Davis, where she earned a bachelor's degree in animal science with a minor in entomology in 2019. Following her undergraduate education, Dr. Satre pursued her dream of becoming a veterinarian at Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in St. Kitts and Nevis, where she graduated in 2025 after completing her clinical year at Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in Indiana. Dr. Satre joined the VCA Crocker team in September 2025.
Dr. Satre brings a fresh perspective and enthusiasm to her practice. She has a strong interest in utilizing problem-solving skills to address the challenges faced by animals and their owners, which she finds fulfilling and rewarding.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Satre enjoys a variety of activities that keep her active and engaged. She is an avid pickleball player and frequents the gym. Additionally, she enjoys exploring the outdoors through hiking and traveling. A long-time fan of anime and PC gaming, Dr. Satre balances her hobbies with her artistic side, as she plays the flute. One of her favorite pastimes is discovering new food spots, which allows her to indulge her culinary curiosity.
Although she currently does not have pets, Dr. Satre is planning to adopt a cat, further deepening her connection to animal care. She is also scuba certified, showcasing her adventurous spirit and love for new experiences.
