Dr. Cynthia Echeverria grew up in the Coachella Valley. She received her B.S. in Animal Science at the University of California, Davis. She attended Western University of Health Sciences for her veterinary degree. Before starting vet school, Dr. Echeverria worked at VCA Desert as a veterinary assistant for a year. She has returned to her hometown to provide care for the pets in her community.
Dr. Echeverria lives with her dog Wiggles, a sassy 15-year-old long-haired chihuahua mix, and Shadow, a very sweet 4-year-old chihuahua terrier mix. In her free time, she enjoys hiking, going to the beach, and salsa dancing.
Dr. Echeverria has a special interest in preventive medicine to help pets live long and healthy lives. She is also a Spanish speaker and is excited to provide care for pets in the Spanish-speaking community.
