Laura grew up in San Juan, Puerto Rico. At the age of 11, she moved to Virginia. While there, she attended Virginia Commonwealth University where she graduated with dual bachelor's degrees in Biology and Health Professional Services. Laura has worked with animals for quite some time, having had a job at a doggy day care before transitioning to a vet assistant role at a local veterinary hospital. Laura moved to Castle Rock in December 2024 and joined our team in February 2025. She has two cats, Henri and Hootie. In her free time, she likes to crochet, watch TV, and listen to podcasts.
