Megan joined our VCA Farmington Hills team in June of 2022. She has been working in the veterinary field for over 10 years. She graduated from Macomb Community College with her Associate's in Applied Science and Veterinary Technician in 2013. She obtained her state licensure later that same year. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology, Liberal Arts minor in Biology from Oakland University in 2016. Megan has worked in several different aspects of veterinary medicine, from general practice to emergency medicine to specialty. Megan's passion within veterinary medicine is behavioral medicine. She is Elite Fear Free Certified, a Certified Cat Friendly Veterinary Professional, and Human Animal Bond Certified. She wants to make sure that all patients that come through our doors experience the least amount of fear, anxiety, and stress possible. Megan is currently working towards her VTS (Veterinary Technician Specialty) in behavior. In her spare time, Megan loves to read, cross-stitch, catch up with friends, and swim. Megan lives at home with her fiancé and two long haired cats, Ori and Luna.
