Hello! My name is Dr. Kiersten Vala and I am the new medical director at VCA Farmington Hills. I joined the doctor team in June 2022, right after graduating from Michigan State College of Veterinary Medicine. I went to THE Ohio State University for my undergraduate studies and grew up down the street from Farmington Hills in Plymouth. I have a special interest in small animal nutrition though I am enjoying everything I see day-to-day in general practice.
I live in Novi with my husband and our two pets: Lloyd, our Italian greyhound, and Penelope, our calico cat. We love watching movies on the couch with Lloyd cudd...
I joined VCA Animal Hospitals in 2008. I share my home with a rescued Irish Wolfhound mix. I love to spend time with my dog, exercise, read, and enjoy life. I love animals and truly enjoy working for VCA Farmington Hills.
