Payton spent the majority of her developing life in Virginia and moved to the Savannah area in 2024. She grew up in a household full of dogs and cats. She now has a black cat of her own, Elvira. Payton graduated with a degree in marine biology and loves to talk about all things marine life. She began her professional career as an animal care specialist at a marine facility before joining the VCA team as a veterinary assistant. She currently spends her free time volunteering at the Tybee Marine Science Center. Payton plans to further her learning and continue to grow in the veterinary field.
