Dr. Brian Cavaliere began his veterinary career by attending Suffolk Community's Veterinary Technology program. He then continued his education further by attending St. George's University school of Veterinary Medicine in 2011, where he received multiple awards for emergency and critical care, Award of Excellence in small animal Surgery, and Large Animal Parasitology. He received his DVM from St. George's University in 2011. His clinical training was completed at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Cavaliere has a strong interest in small animal medicine, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and physical therapy/rehabilitation. He is currently a member of the Long Island Veterinary Medical Association (LIVMA), (New York State Veterinary Medical Society (NYSVMS), (American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Outside of work Dr. Cavaliere can be found going hiking, kayaking, camping, playing softball or hockey, and spending time with his family, friends, and Chesapeake Bay retriever, Sassy.
