Seth Beyers, Medical Director
Dr. Beyers grew up in a small town in central Illinois. He graduated from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri with a Bachelor's Degree in Biology. Afterward, Dr. Beyers continued on to St. George University Veterinary School in Grenada, West Indies. He completed his fourth-year clinical rotations at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Beyers joined the VCA family in early 2016 as a relief doctor. He quickly realized how much he loved the Joliet staff and patients which led to his recent acceptance of the MD position at VCA Joliet. He enjoys many aspects of veterinary medicine, but dentistry and internal medicine are at the top of his interests. Dr. Beyers also loves being able to connect with pet owners; he works closely with them to ensure their pets receive the best care possible!
Dr. Beyers has a big family. He enjoys traveling home to spend time with them and showing them around the Chicagoland area. In his free time, Dr. Beyers loves to cook, play sports, and spend time with his dog, Boone.
