When Dr. Williams made the decision to switch from a major in business to pre-veterinary studies, it was met with resistance from her family. However, her passion for animal health and welfare, particularly in helping stray animals, was unwavering. Since 2002, she has embarked on a rewarding journey working with small and large animals and various research species.
Dr. Williams completed her undergraduate studies and veterinary schooling in India, then on to graduate schooling and her licensing exams in the USA. She pursued advanced degrees in genetics and public health at the University of Georgia. Her professional experience includes research in a biosecurity and infection control laboratory.
For the past few years, she has dedicated herself to general veterinary practice, where she has found great fulfillment in connecting with clients and their pets. Educating clients and maintaining the bond between pet owners and their animals is of paramount importance to Dr. Williams. She is particularly passionate about pain management, ensuring that our animal companions are comfortable and well-cared for.
Dr. Williams is excited to provide clinical care for urgent pet health matters and to offer comfort to pet owners during challenging times. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys spending quality time with her family, which includes both humans and dogs. They take pleasure in long walks, gardening, and visiting local farmers' markets. They are also avid fans of Mrs. Sarkozy's baked goods.
She looks forward to supporting our community and ensuring the well-being and comfort of our beloved pets.
