Dr. Fion Hung earned her BS in Biology from UCLA and an MS in Biomedical Sciences from Western University of Health Sciences before receiving her DVM from Colorado State University. Her connection to VCA Lakewood Animal Hospital began long before joining the team as a veterinarian, having previously worked at the hospital in both client service and as a veterinary technician. She is excited to have come full circle and return to a team and community she calls home.
Dr. Hung enjoys the variety of both general practice and emergency medicine and has particular interests in surgery and dermatology. She especially values client education and enjoys making complex medical information approachable, helping families feel informed and confident in making decisions for their pets.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Hung can often be found drawing, writing, cooking, listening to music, or cuddling with her cats, Hana and Hachimitsu, and her turtle, Guay-Guay.
