Stop by Lakewood Animal Hospital's lab and you will likely meet Patty, our lab supervisor. Patty joined VCA in 2019, bringing many years of experience with in-house lab operations and protocols including maintaining our complement of IDEXX diagnostic equipment.
With a BS in electrical engineering from Purdue University, it was a passion for animals and the human/animal connection that brought her to the veterinary industry. Her favorite aspect of the job is being able to promote exceptional veterinary health care by providing real-time diagnostics.
Patty and her husband are long time Lakewood residents. She loves reading, nature walks and learning new things, and is constantly inspired by her two daughters.
