Summer has been passionate about working with animals since childhood. She began her career at Humane Veterinary Hospital in Pennsylvania, where she spent five years advancing from a veterinary assistant to an appointment technician, gaining valuable experience and building a strong foundation in animal care.
Following a family emergency, Summer relocated to Massachusetts, where she joined VCA Lancaster and was warmly welcomed by the team. She enjoys being part of the hospital and looks forward to continuing to learn and grow within the organization.
In her free time, Summer enjoys spending time outdoors, especially on sunny days, whether hiking, biking, camping with her dog, Beauty, or relaxing with a good book. During colder or inclement weather, she enjoys gaming while staying cozy with a cup of hot cocoa.
