Dr. Amanda Klaiber received her bachelor's degree from the University of Akron, where she graduated with honors from the College of Arts and Sciences. She then traveled to Columbus for four amazing, but long, years at The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine, graduating in 2012. She thoroughly enjoyed being an OSU Buckeye! Dr. Klaiber joined VCA Madeira Animal Hospital in December of 2018, and she loved getting to know the clients and their wonderful furry companions. She has special interest in surgery, both soft tissue and orthopedic, and she truly enjoys client education, which probably stems from her years of teaching at the University of Akron. 

Outside of work, Dr. Klaiber enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her family and friends. She flexes her creativity by running a puzzle Instagram account, and contributing to the Jigsaw Junkie blogs as a  Puzzle Warehouse ambassador. She is completely smitten with her Soft Coated Wheaten Terrier, Bella, as well as her husband, Luke. She looks forward to continuing to explore Cincinnati and all it has to offer!
