Dr. Courtney Ruehlmann was born and raised in Cincinnati, Ohio. She graduated from The Ohio State University with a degree in Animal Science in 2020. She has always had a passion for animals and her dream to become a veterinarian started when she was just five years old.

Dr. Ruehlmann graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2024 and is so excited to be returning to her hometown to join the VCA Madeira team. Her special interest includes preventative care medicine, nutrition, dentistry, and client education. Dr. Ruehlmann is most excited to build strong relationships with clients and work with clients as a team to provide the best care for their pet.

Outside of work, Dr. Ruehlmann loves spending time with her family, friends, and her two cats, Bonnie and Big Liz. She enjoys rollerblading, reading mystery novels, painting and visiting coffee shops.
