Our hospital is staffed with two full-time veterinarians and one part-time veterinarian. All of our veterinarians are members of the American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA), the Ohio Veterinary Medical Association (OVMA), and the Cincinnati Veterinary Medical Association (CVMA). We have a support staff of ten.
Team Spotlight
Dr. Christina Canis was born in Virginia. She received her Bachelor of Science degree with honors in biology from Virginia Tech in 2005. During college, she worked at a small animal hospital as a veterinary assistant, volunteered at the Virginia Tech Sheep Center, and was selected to participate in the Marine Resources Population Dynamics Workshop in Florida. Inspired by her high school AP biology teacher, she made the decision to apply to veterinary school because of her passion for biology and her desire to work closely with both animals and people.

Lynn just celebrated her 31st year with VCA Madeira Animal Hospital in February 2022. She started out as a receptionist and worked her way up to the hospital manager. She enjoys interacting with the clients and patients on a daily basis. She cannot image her life without working with her extended MAH family. She has been married for 30 years and they have 2 adult children. Lynn loves her two Labrador Retrievers (Joey & Tucker). She is a passionate Cincinnati Reds fan and enjoys attending games, traveling, spending the weekends camping on the Ohio river, spending time with her children and grandson....
