Dr. Cobos grew up in the Seattle, WA area, but moved to the Sacramento area in 2011 to pursue her dream of becoming a veterinarian. She received her Bachelor's degree from UC Davis in Genetics, with minors in Animal Science and Nutrition Science, and moved on to the School of Veterinary Medicine at Davis, graduating in 2019. While in veterinary school, she helped run The Orphan Kitten Project, a student run kitten rescue.

Dr. Cobos is also a level 2 Fear Free Certified professional, and hopes to continue her commitment to the emotional well-being of all her patients. She particularly enjoys behavior, preventive medicine and infectious disease.

She also has worked with wildlife since 2008 and volunteers at local rehabilitation centers and has started her own non-profit organization, with help from her husband and close friends, focused on educating people about wildlife and our relationship with them.

When not working with her patients and their families, she enjoys spending time with her husband and their three cats,  Archer, Smoak and Pikachu; playing board games and video games; and reading and singing.
