Staff Veterinarian
Dr. Lori Prater grew up moving around the Midwest and East Coast before earning a bachelor's degree in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia. She continued her studies at Colorado State University, where she graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. Dr. Prater initially practiced in Northern California before settling in Southern California in 2005. Her special interests include emergency medicine, anesthesia, and pain management. She spends her free time knitting, baking, and doing martial arts with her husband.
