Ben, our assistant practice manager, joined us after graduating from PSU (Animal Science) in 2015 and bouncing around industries before finding VCA Metzger the first time in 2021 as a nurse/veterinary assistant. He then left to manage a hospital in Philadelphia (Go Birds!) but couldn't stay away, dragging his partner, Maggie, and her beloved Cavapoo, Frankie, to Happy Valley. He moved back to take the assistant hospital manager position in August 2023 because he missed helping save lives in emergency medicine and educating clients.
When not in the hospital, he is usually hosting dinner parties for his friends, foraging and gardening, helping his Dad keep the family farm going, or trying to snag the hardest reservations or event tickets across the mid-Atlantic.
