Dr. Denise Bohn is the Lead Doctor in Emergency Medicine for VCA Midwest Veterinary Referral & Emergency Hospital. In her role, she mentors the emergency doctor team and leads the emergency service. Dr. Bohn is a 1990 graduate from Iowa State University in veterinary medicine. She has worked in Emergency medicine for over 20 years in Nebraska and Iowa and has a special interest in neonatal and pediatric patients. She is a member of the Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care Society, American Veterinary Medical Association, and the Iowa Veterinary Medicine Association. Dr. Bohn enjoys fitness, has trained for a triathlon, loves gardening, and plays guitar. Dr. Bohn enjoys interacting with the patients, clients and doctors at VCA MidWest Referral & Emergency Center.
