Dr. Traylor was born and raised in the hot and humid tropics of Louisiana where her summers were filled with blackberry picking and playing with every type of wild animal she could get her hands on in the swamp. This environment along with her loving family nurtured her passion for animals and she went on to get her undergraduate and master's degrees in Biology. She then continued her veterinary education at Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Traylor moved to Los Angeles in 2018 and is excited to be a part of VCA. Her passions are behavior, anesthesia, and focuses on low stress handling for all of her patients. In her spare time, she loves to read, explore the desert, and play the piano. She also doesn't mind spending the day cuddling with her sweet four-legged friends and her wonderful husband.
