Romina Hernandez-Rodriguez
Associate Veterinarian DVM
Romina was born in Mexico City, and since she was little, she remembers feeling passionate about animals. She is a DMV in Mexico and is currently studying to get her Veterinary License in USA. She has a Bachelor's degree of Science in Veterinary Medicine and Animal Husbandry from the National Autonomous University of Mexico UNAM (Accredited by the American Veterinary Association in 2011). As part of her thesis, she analyzed the frequencies of ocular neoplasms and risk factors in dogs obtaining Honorable Mention in her professional examination. From 2016 to 2019 she was part of the medical staff of the Municipal Veterinary Clinic of Tlalpan, serving as the doctor in charge of the weekend shift. She has performed veterinary medical consultation for dogs and cats, general surgery, has supervised the management of preventive medicine and epidemiological control for the rabies virus of the municipality of Tlalpan (Mexico). In 2019, she was in charge of the practical management of a Hoof Trimming Research Project for the Iowa University, referring in the organic treatment for the most common podal diseases in cattle. Romina loves eating all kinds of food (only eating, not cooking), playing videogames, and taking naps.
