VCA North Idaho Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary facility who is proud to offer a variety of medial animal services in the local Sandpoint and North Idaho Panhandle areas. Compassion is our most important objective. This includes more than the pets and exotic animals upon whom we focus, but also our human clientele.  Safety is always our concern during even the simplest procedures. No anesthesia is 100% safe, however, we strive for perfection.  Skill and training go hand-in-hand and our entire staff exemplifies this. Our doctors and veterinary technicians stay current on the latest techniques.

Our mission is to deliver high-quality and compassionate care to pets and their people while striving towards a fear-free experience for our patients.  We accomplish this through continuously educating our doctors and our staff, and by prioritizing client education.  Our goal is to always offer superior choices for preventative care, medicine, and surgery; but to customize these for the needs of our clients.

The American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) sets the standard for quality veterinary care for companion animals. As an accredited hospital, we voluntarily uphold the Association's high standards in 18 different areas and are routinely evaluated on over 900 different standards of veterinary care. Not all animal hospitals are accredited, and we are proud to be amongst only 12-15% of veterinary hospitals that hold this honor.
