Dr. Yamilka Lago Alvarez graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving her doctorate in veterinary medicine in 2019. Her clinical training began as a large animal rotating intern and a specialty theriogenology internship at the University of Illinois. Following her internships, Dr. Lago Alvarez completed a residency in comparative theriogenology at Cornell University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Lago Alvarez is settled in Texas with her family and is excited to join VCA North Plano and serve our community.
