Rachel started working at Parkway in 2010 while finishing her Bachelors in Zoology from North Carolina State University in 2012. She completed her Associate of Science in Veterinary Technology qualifying to take the state and federal boards in May 2018 to be a Registered Veterinary Technician in the state of North Carolina. In 2019 she accepted the position of Lead Veterinary Technician here at Parkway and recently in 2021 accepted the role as Practice Manager. 

Rachel's interests include Feline medicine/behavior, client education, emergency care and dental procedures. She also works with a local volunteer TNR group, Operation Catnip, altering feral cats in the community. In her free time, she teaches Yoga (Hot flow and Aerial) at a local Raleigh studio and enjoys spending time reading, outside and traveling. Rachel lives in Raleigh with her 2 kitties (Chuck and Vito) and her partner Greg, in Downtown Raleigh.
