Mariana was born in Lawrenceville, Georgia, and bounced around in Gwinnett County as a child before settling in Duluth, Georgia. Her parents are from Medellín, Colombia, and she loves visiting often. Mariana is attending Kennesaw State University, majoring in biology, and plans to pursue her career in veterinary medicine after graduating. She has always had a strong passion for helping animals and knew that's what she wanted to do with her life. She previously worked at a doggy daycare and boarding facility for over two years, where she learned much about what she knew. She joined the VCA family to learn everything there is to know about animal hospitals and the veterinary field, and she loves the meaning and purpose behind being a VCA employee. She recently took in her dog, Luna, who is from Medellín, Colombia, and is now a very proud dog owner!
