Dr. Maureen Kruhlak is originally from Alberta, Canada where she grew up with golden retrievers and cats, and helped out on her family's cattle farm. Her journey into veterinary medicine began while volunteering at a veterinary clinic while working as a researcher in a human emergency department. Her passion and love of animals and medicine lead to her attending veterinary school at St. George's University in Grenada, West Indies and then completing her clinical studies at Cornell University in New York. Dr. Kruhlak has special interests in radiology, soft-tissue surgery and clinical pathology. Dr. Kruhlak moved to Washington in 2024, as she loves the ocean, hiking, and the great outdoors that Washington has to offer.
