Dr. Clawson grew up in Rockford, IL, with a big, diverse family and a wide variety of pets.
She completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Illinois and her certificate of Veterinary Medical Acupuncture from the Curacore Integrative Medicine and Education Center in Fort Collins, CO. She also received her certification as a Fear Free Certified professional. Dr. Clawson also proudly serves on the board of directors for Park City's own Nuzzles and Co.
Her professional interests in addition to acupuncture and pain management include animal behavior, dentistry, internal medicine, oncology, and shelter medicine.
Dr. Clawson currently lives in Salt Lake City with her husband, John; daughters, Riley and Ruby; dogs, Jack, Penny, Snacks, and Claire; as well as cats, Meatloaf, Hans Gruber, Crunchwrap Supreme, and Captain Pancakes. Dr. Clawson’s interests outside of trying to always make everyone laugh are camping, reading, antiquing, any and all travel, and true crime documentaries.
