Dr. Wong received his veterinary degree from the University of California, Davis in 1992. He performed his internship at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, MA after which he remained on staff. He spent 3 years in private practice in Los Angeles, and then moved to Sacramento to complete an emergency/critical care residency program through UC Davis and Sacramento Animal Medical Group. He became board certified in Emergency/Critical Care Medicine in 2007. Julie Dodock-Cox, RVT started working at Sacramento Veterinary Surgical Services in 1994 as a Veterinary Assistant. Julie graduated WCC and received her RVT license in 1997. She has worked as a Veterinary Technician in all aspects of the hospital and has been working as a Technician Supervisor since 2000. Julie stayed on with Sacramento Veterinary Surgical Services as it transformed into VCA Sacramento Veterinary Referral Center in 2005 where she continues to be one of the Technician Supervisors.
