Tania started with VCA Animal Hospital of Santa Cruz in 2000, a year out of high school. She worked at several hospitals around the bay area while taking college courses and in 2010 she took a year off to stay home with her daughter. She re-joined the VCA family a second time in 2011.

Tania continues her education by attending C.E. on pharmaceuticals, prescription diets, controlled drugs, radiology, veterinary products, and parasitology. She has received on-site training as a veterinary assistant.

Tania was born here in Santa Cruz but was raised primarily in Berkeley; Spending her school years in Berkeley and her summers in Santa Cruz. She likes to watch movies with her two kids and enjoys going to the beach and discovering new and ever changing activities that Santa Cruz has to offer. She shares custody of her Chihuahua, Lolita, and blue nose pit bull, Blu Dogg.

Aside from her obvious love of animals, she continues to made lifelong friendships through VCA, with fellow employees and even clients.
