Prior to working at an animal hospital, Jean spent almost 2 decades working in restaurants, but decided she wanted something more fulfilling. She started her career in veterinary medicine almost 2.5 years ago. Jean began working at an emergency hospital during COVID, and later transitioned over to VCA Schaumburg in May of 2022. Jean enjoys that she can develop relationships with clients and watching animals grow up. She appreciates learning something new every day and being a part of an awesome team. She would like to eventually expand her knowledge of veterinary medicine by taking on a technician role. When she is not at work you can find her at home taking care of her tropical fish and hermit crab, gardening and caring for her many indoor plants (succulents are her favorite), fishing, relaxing, and watching comedy shows. Jean also likes hanging out with her family including her twin sister, or going out with friends doing a variety of activities including bowling, mini-golfing, going to the movies, or playing games at Dave & Busters. She has always had dogs growing up and wants to get another one in the near future!
