Howard Martin, DVM is an Associate Veterinarian providing Avian, Exotic, and other small animal clients the expertise needed for these special pets. Dr. Martin has over 30 years of avian and exotic experience. He received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine at UC Davis in 1982 and completed an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. He then spent two years completing a residency program in Zoo and Wildlife medicine. Dr. Martin taught for 6 years at Colorado State University and established an avian and exotic clinic. He moved back to California with his wife, Audrey, to be closer to family. Dr. Martin has published many articles on avian and exotic medicine. He is on the Board of Directors for The Gibbon Conservation Center and belongs to numerous other veterinary organizations.
