Erin has loved animals for as long as anyone can remember. She started her animal career in the 5th grade working on science projects about endangered animals, animal abuse, and animal testing. She continued her work through Girl Scouts volunteering with shelters all throughout high school. She joined the FFA in high school where she learned everything one could want to know about animal science through classes like Zoology, Agricultural Science, and Forestry.
Erin started to work for VCA Hemingway Cat Hospital in Saratoga in the summer of 1998 as a kennel attendant, technician assistant, and cat bather. By 2001, she was a full-time groomer at VCA Hemingway Cat Hospital. After Hemingway's closure in August of 2013, Erin came to join her new VCA family at VCA Winchester Animal Hospital in Campbell, where she grooms cats and dogs.
When she is not at work pampering pets, she is either doing volunteer work with her Girl Scouts or tending to her garden and her many pets at home. Erin currently has one dog, three cats, four chickens, two rabbits, and two turtles.
