Dr. Meagan Elliott was born and raised in Martin, TN. She attended college at the University of Kentucky where she pitched for the Wildcats softball team for four years and studied Agricultural and Medical Biotechnology. Post college, Dr. Elliott had the opportunity to continue her softball career professionally or continue her veterinary education by attending the University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine. She elected to hang up her cleats and was awarded her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in May of 2022. Dr. Elliott enjoys working with clients to reach the most ethical and practical solution for each individual case. She has a particular interest in senior care, dentistry, and prevention. Dr. Elliott enjoys interacting and building connections with people, and animals are the perfect gateway to those relationships.

Outside of work, she enjoys exploring Kentucky State Parks—five parks down and many more to go. Each football season Dr. Elliott and her husband, David, enjoy visiting a different SEC campus for tailgating and time-honored traditions of that school. After a two-year stint of living and practicing in Upstate New York, Dr. Elliott, her husband and their corgi, Dietz, are thrilled to be back in the Big Blue Nation.
