Dr. Philbin was born and raised in the Bay Area and completed her undergraduate degree at San Jose State University. During her time in San Jose, she decided to combine her interest in biology with her love of animals and try working as a veterinary assistant at a small hospital. Needless to say, she was hooked! She completed her doctorate of veterinary medicine at Western University of Health Sciences and began practice in the Los Angeles area. While veterinarian life with her heart dog Brosnan was great, she found adding a husband and a quirky cat Jack made their family complete. Now that they have found their home, she is excited to continue this journey working to provide the best care for the dogs and cats of Portland.
