Christine Landeros
Director of Patient Care RVT

Christine has been an RVT for over 31 years and has worked in the veterinary field for 37 years. She graduated from Purdue's School of Veterinary Technology in 1993. She started working at Purdue as a small animal anesthesia technologist in their surgery department. She also supervised the veterinary junior surgery lab, instructed veterinary technology students and veterinary students on small animal anesthesia in the classroom and clinic and worked in their distance learning department as a clinical mentorship developer.

After relocating to Fishers, she worked in many other specialties, such as emergency medicine and a bit in dermatology. She taught at the Vet Tech Institute as a part-time instructor for two years. She then joined VCA Northwood as a versa tech working in surgery, emergency and critical care. After a few years she transferred to AVCC as a technician in the Radiation Oncology department for four years. An opportunity came to re-join the Vet Tech Institute as a full-time instructor, teaching subjects such as Anatomy/Physiology, Anesthesia, Pharmacology and Clinical Laboratory.

Teaching has always been her passion and once she heard that AVCC was starting a training and development position, this drew her back to AVCC. She was the training and development coordinator from 2021 to 2023. She has now embarked on another new role: director of patient care. She works with Dr. Cross to improve all around patient care; implementing and reviewing protocols, working as a liaison between the doctors and the technical staff and overseeing training. She is excited to see how this role will improve the overall care of our patients and helping our clients.

Christine resides in Fishers with her husband, Rolly, and her two adorable boxers, Bo and AJ. She also has two kids, Josephina and Gabe.
