Svetlana has been volunteering with local animal rescues for years, and eventually decided to dedicate her life to helping animals in a more profound way. She graduated from PIMA Medical Institute and is now a certified veterinary assistant by day, while working on her prerequisites for veterinary school in her free time. She also enjoys animal photography and drawing. Svetlana lives in Lake Stevens with her family, which includes nine cats, her husband, and two stepchildren.
