At VCA Aledo Animal Hospital, we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. We work hard to deliver the best medical care for your pets, as well as the best experience for you, the pet owner.

Welcome! Located in Willow Park, Texas on I-20 access road south, VCA Aledo is a friendly, comfortable, state of the art, full-service veterinary hospital. Our caring and skilled veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services for puppies and kittens, adult dogs and cats, and senior pets. Our services include physical exams, vaccines, spay, neuter, and pet dental care; surgeries, hospitalization, digital x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory testing.

Ask us about CareClub, the affordable monthly wellness plan. We carry Hill's Science and Prescription Diets, Royal Canin therapeutic pet food, Purina diets and a variety of treats. We work closely with several local rescue groups and animal shelters including the Weatherford Animal Shelter.

  • Diagnostic and therapeutic services: For your pet's complete healthcare needs.
  • Diagnostic imaging: On-site X-ray service provides high-quality radiographs essential for identifying problems that cannot be found by a physical examination.
  • Laboratory: In-house laboratory for serum chemistry and hematology for more urgent cases; we also utilize a commercial veterinary laboratory for routine and specialized diagnostics and consultations.
  • Pharmacy: A complete inventory of pharmaceuticals, canine and feline heartworm preventives, prescription diets, vitamins and shampoos.
  • Surgery/Dentistry: We are fully equipped to provide routine spaying and neutering, soft tissue surgery, dental evaluations and cleaning. We also provide dental X-rays to thoroughly evaluate your pet's teeth.
  • Emergency care: We work closely with emergency hospitals for overnight care if indicated.
  • Pain management: Pain can accompany illness, injury, surgery, or chronic condition. Effective pain control is a vital part of caring for your pet and ensuring their comfort, quick recovery, and quality of life.

    Puppy Rescue Mission

    Puppy Rescue Mission is a 501c3 registered charity and a certified domestic non-profit in Texas.

    The Puppy Rescue Mission works to fund-raise and assist in pet rescue, foster and re-homing when needed, in particular pets of soldiers, especially those deployed in war zones. They assist with requests, logistics, administration and fund-raising for the adopted stray dogs of war rescued by and bonded with soldiers. This may include vet care, supplies, transport and related issues. They work with or through other organizations that help soldiers bring their companion animals home from war.

In real time, veterinary providers can enlist an expert Lionbridge interpreter to facilitate a clear exchange of information between themselves and clients. Lionbridge’s on-demand, remote interpretation services enable effective and accurate communication with clients. This service empowers clients to be heard and spoken to in their own language, which in turn facilitates a deeper understanding of the care your pet needs.
