The initial puppy and kitten series of vaccinations are a vital part of keeping your pet healthy throughout this vulnerable stage of their life. We generally recommend beginning your puppy vaccination program between 6 to 8 weeks of age, with boosters every 3 to 4 weeks until he or she is 14 o 16 weeks of age. Kitten vaccinations are recommended to begin at 8 weeks of age. Controlling internal & external parasites through fecal tests, Deworming and implementing heartworm and flea preventives are also vital to your new pet's health. For your kitten or puppies health, it is also best to avoid contact with potentially non-vaccinated pets such as parks, pet stores, and even your neighborhood until 3 weeks after their final vaccination in the series.
